Back Home...

... after two days away at a beekeeping conference. Among other things, I listened to lectures on Russian Queens, Beeswax, Installing Packaged Bees, Soapmaking, and Behavior of the Hive. It was all very interesting and I enjoyed the lectures and workshops a lot. Now all I have to do is remember, understand, and apply what I heard.

Wow! Sounds like you learned a lot. I hope you can remember it all, when it comes time to use what you learned. Good luck with the bees!

JFC- we certainly did learn a lot! Thanks. :-)

Mybelovedismine- I did not forget the lecture on making mead, the beekeeper with a braided beard, the many mini skirts, or that moderately tacky black cowboy hat with "Wrangler" in yellow on the back... although I might want to forget those last three, I merely omitted them from the list!
I haven't forgotten our 'creative routing' on the way there or back, either... ;-)
"I don't know if this worries you, but I don't think we're on the right road..." ...lol... :-)

Lauren- I'm learning as much as I can about bees right now because I'm going to get some in a few months myself! :-)
And it was very interesting! :o)
