Well, he is a pretty good dog (except for his love of chewing anything). But you can get a better idea of his true nature here as he chases Wilma, the cat...
awww what a cutie! We hope to have a dog when the girls are older...we had a lab but she lives with my brother now, I couldn't handle tha hair with a baby! But they ARE cute!
Love him! Is he a new additionor has he been a family member for awhile? I'd love to rescue an adult dog, but thought I'd wait until the boys were older, but with the husband deploying have re-considered so I'd have a security dog. :-)
Brooke- That's what Mrs. V thought he looked like & I agreed so I kept it. :)
Shine- thanks! Yeah, Fred is an outside dog, I wouldn't want an inside dog right now... it would be like another toddler!
Michelle- he is sorta new. We've had him for a few months. We got him right before Micah had to work out of town for a few weeks, & I felt a lot better with him around. He was a stray that showed up at a friend's house and seemed like a good fit for us. I wanted a dog but not the responsibility of a puppy! If you can find a mellow adult dog it seems like that might be a really good thing with Dave gone. And if it is an outside dog hopefully not too much extra work!
