Goats!

Brother #4 went out one morning last week with my camera, and came back in with fifty plus pictures. Even after I deleted the ones that didn't turn out so well, I still had lots of his pictures, so I thought I'd share some... these are three he took of our new goats. Jenni (brown, on the left) and Meg are does due to kid in the spring. They are very sweet and friendly, and we've really enjoyed having them around!

Nice pictures! You'll have fun with babies in the spring. We usually have around fifty, it's fun trying to keep them straight!

Aww! They're so cute, and your brother got some good pictures. I especially like the one of both goats.

Looks like the goats were real interested in what your brother was up to! Cute!!!! :)

You have goats? Congratulations! They have those cute droopy Nubian ears, but their coloring is different from our Nubians.

They are a lot of fun, aren't they?

I envy you! I want goats so badly, and hopefully in time we will have some.

I hear you are living on creek water? :-D Hope you do well during this storm.

Thanks everyone... the goats are really cut and fun to watch.

Hi Abbie! :-D Actually we're only hauling creek water for the livestock and flush water, thank goodness! We haven't had power since early Saturday morning, and don't expect to have it for a few more days. But we're doing pretty well. It is rather an adventure. I can't remember ever being without power for more than 24 hours!
