Han- I was relieved to find that was a quote... for a moment I thought you did indeed wish to wash your face and hands and hair in snow... which strikes me as a bit extreme. Yes, I love snow... but washing your hair in it? Brrrr... ;-)
Sarie- Yes! What could be better than a white Christmas? :-)
Deborah- We did? wow! That isn't usual...
Mrs. C- No, it isn't... the locals are saying that this is the biggest winter storm in the last four years. There wasn't anything like this last year, or the year before. I remember last winter as being fairly mild, with no snow to speak of. But we're definitely enjoying it this year! Although the snow is melting away, and today our boys are out without their coats playing in it... :-)
Yeah, I am a little surprised that nobody hacked the blog. Especially as it seems to be a habit among the people of your church. :-D This is too late I know, but Happy Birthday

That looks so magical. Wish I was there ... am in spirit maybe. :)
I want to wash my face, my hair, my hands in SNOW!
I'm not exactly sure that's the lyric. I always end up in a fit of giggles after Danny Kaye makes the snowman shape... (in White Christmas)
I'm dreaming of a White Christmas. I hope we get some white soon. Perty!
Oh, how beautiful! Is that normal?

CB- Enjoy your flowers. :-)

It is popular, it seems, for a person to prove that he is no wimpy, city slicker by wearing no coats or shoes in any weather. :-D

Not only was it the largest storm in the last four years, the snow (and ice) also stayed longer than any other snow that I can remember.
I was heading here to wish you a happy birthday and someone beat me to it. :-D Happy birthday.
Thanks Anonymous and Catigail! :-)
